I believe it was divine intervention that lead me to Mr. Magdaleno.  In the very beginning, while getting to know Mike I was looking to improve my life and become a better manager.  Soon after tragedy struck.  I was informed that I was losing my job.  My restaurant was being closed and putting about 30 employees out of work.  I started experiencing chest pains daily; I was completely overwhelmed with grief and fearful of the future.  I had a brand new mortgage and I felt like I was losing it all.  Mike was the calm I needed when everything else was uncontrollable and crazy.  Mike showed me how to not be so concerned with what was ahead of me but instead to focus on right now.  “What do you need to do right now?” was a question he would ask when I would call him up frantic and stressed out.  He showed me how to maintain composure when I just wanted to give up.
I can honestly say that if Mike had not been my Coach through all that I would not have made it.  Mike was the best thing that could have happened to me this year.

A Warrior
I have known Mike just shy of 9 months. I met him through Morning Coach. When I first started to visit the site I was unsure of myself and tentative in my actions on the site. Mike immediately made me feel comfortable and accepted. He guided and assured me in those early days. One of the first things I remember him telling me was to  express myself. This was something that noone had told me growing up. We corresponded often through e-mail. He always managed to anticipate my needs and questions. He was always there. Today nothing has changed. Whether through the internet or on the phone he has never refused his time and contact.

He is without a doubt the most intelligent, caring, selfless individual I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. It still boggles my mind that I am able to call this man my mentor and dear friend. I love him dearly and will always look to him for his guidance on this journey we call life.
