Quite often I am asked, Mike what does it take to improve yourself?  My first reaction is to wonder how best to encapsulate this inquiry.    With the complexities of human life being so varied, having one set of points followed which will translate into personal growth and development is a tall order.  It is so, because what motivates one person may demotivate another.  I have found some common threads though, and will share them with you.

  • Start each day by saying thank you for living and drawing breath
  • Focus on small improvements each day
  • Find something during your day to laugh at and do so heartily
  • Never pass up an opportunity to say “I love you”
  • Live simply, follow the K.I.S.S. method.

What is the K.I.S.S. method?  It is an acronym for Keep It Short and Simple.  Far too often, we make things harder than they should.  Looking for simplicity is effective time management.  Living with enthusiasm is best accomplished by following these tips.

If you are suffering from or need to improve your self confidence you should watch Biggest Loser Australia. Make a note of how the contestants talk about themselves and their body language. Then watch them change it is absolutely amazing, take inspiration from them.
